Is there a free trial?

How much does an Explainly video cost?
You pay per minute of finished video. Whiteboard videos cost $0.49 per minute at 720p and $0.69 per minute at 1080p; Slideshow videos cost $0.99 and $1.39 per minute. For example, a 5-minute 1080p whiteboard video costs about $3.45.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Explainly is pay-as-you-go: you buy a one-off credit pack and spend it on the videos you make. The packs are $10 (+$1 bonus), $25 (+$5 bonus), $50 (+$12.50 bonus). Nothing renews.
Is there a bonus on my first top-up?
New accounts: your first top-up within 24 hours of your first video gets +$2 extra credit.
Is there a bonus on top-ups this week?
Yes: +20% extra credit on every top-up until Sunday, Nov 8, 23:59 (Bucharest time). $10 gets you $13 (with that pack's own $1 bonus), $25 gets you $35 (with that pack's own $5 bonus), $50 gets you $72.50 (with that pack's own $12.50 bonus). If your first top-up bonus also applies, you get the larger of the two, not both.
What happens if a video fails or comes out shorter?
Failed generations are fully refunded, and if a video runs shorter than requested, the unused minutes go back to your balance. Refunds are issued as account credits.
What formats and resolutions can I make?
16:9 landscape (YouTube, slides, courses) or 9:16 vertical (Shorts, Reels, TikTok), at 720p or 1080p, from about 1 to about 15 minutes long.
Which languages and voices are available?
English, Romanian, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian and Hindi. The script and the narration are both in the language you choose, with ten narrator voices to pick from.
How long does it take to make a video?
A short video takes a few minutes; longer videos take longer. You can leave the page while it works and find the video later in My videos.
Can I use the videos on YouTube or for my business?
Under our Terms you keep your rights to the videos you generate, and you are responsible for how you use them. Each finished video also comes with a ready-made YouTube description and tags.
